Mother's Day was lovely, as well. Paul got me some beautiful pink roses then cooked me breakfast on Sunday. After mass we headed to Tilden Park in Berkeley for a picnic at the Botanical Gardens and a train ride with the kids!

Celebrations!
Two weekends ago we celebrated Jakob's baptism and Mother's Day. Jakob's baptism was a lovely service at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Walnut Creek. Paul and I are so proud to formally welcome our little boy into our faith! We rounded out the celebration with lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Walnut Creek.
