What we've been up to...

Well, making lasagna for one thing. Layers and layers of yumminess! Who knew that my Portuguese-Slovak husband could make such delicious Italian lasagna!

We also enjoyed a very Irish St. Patrick's day. We started off the day with Irish scones for breakfast. Then the kids and I went to mass and were treated to mass said by an Irish priest! Jakob even received a blessing after mass. Dinner was a "traditional" feast of corned beef, champ (Irish mashed potatoes), cabbage, Irish soda bread, and of course, Guiness.

We topped off the evening with a viewing of John Wayne in "The Quiet Man". And, I won't say anything, and hopefully no one reports us to CPS, but I think I know why Jakob slept so well that night...
Friday we headed up to Napa and had an upscale picnic lunch at V. Sattui winery in St. Helena. The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast watching the Wine Train roll by.
And so begins another week in the Richnavsky household...

  1. What a wonderful time you guys had! And oh how your babes have grown, too. I can't wait for our kids to play together again soon!
