Date Night!

"Annie and Paul going out on a date? Yes, that sounds logical".

Yes, Paul and I actually got out on a date. Alone. Without kids. Waaaaaay overdue for this, but when you have a baby, things get a little crazy. Last Sunday Paul and I went for a distraction free, all-adult dinner at Mimi's Cafe in Concord then onto Walnut Creek for the new "Star Trek" movie.

Dinner was very nice. It was lovely to be able to concentrate on My Sweetie instead of corralling two toddlers and nursing a baby. The food was good, too. "Star Trek" was awesome. Definitely worth the $10.50. I don't profess to be a Trekkie, but I enjoy the series and this movie does not disappoint. Action packed and thrill-a-minute but it also contained some humor as well.

All too soon, though, we had to head home where Hannah had not only done an excellent job of watching the kids and putting them down (yes, all three kids!), but she also cleaned!! She's a keeper for sure.
